  • Beach and Water Quality: It’s Memorial Day weekend and all District 19 beaches are open with good water quality.
  • Bird and Nature Adventures: Discover nature by foot, paddle or pedal with a free and family-friendly Bird & Nature Adventure! These volunteer-led events are held in parks year-round throughout the city.  On Saturday, June 14, Beth Whitaker & Sylvia Marek host “Walk in the Woods” in Owen Conservation Park.

Updates and Notices

  • The City of Madison will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025, in Observance of Memorial Day.
  • Email Scam (Phishing Attempt): We have heard about emails requesting payments for Conditional Use Permits that are pretending to come from the City of Madison. These emails are a scam (phishing attempt). The City of Madison will always send emails from “cityofmadison.com.” If you get an email from any other domain it is fraudulent.
