In the D19

  • Snow update: We are expecting the first significant snowfall of the season. Here is relevant information and reminders.
    • Drop-off sites will be closed on 11/29 and 11/30. This frees up Streets staff for plowing and related tasks and keeps all of us safer.
    • Leaf collection will be delayed for residents with an 11/30 set out date. Collection will begin again as soon as Streets staff can be released from plowing duties.
    • Plows will be out starting at 12 AM (midnight) Saturday and they will be circling through the salt routes throughout the storm.
    • Street plowing will begin when the storm is at or near its end and there are three or more inches of snow accumulated on the road.
    • Sidewalk clearing reminder: City ordinances require all snow and ice be removed from a public sidewalk by Noon (12:00pm) of the day after the snow stops.
  • Plan Commission District 19 matters
