The week of April 10 has items of possible interest to residents of district 2 at the Sustainable Madison Committee-Street Tree Working Group, a Neighborhood Meeting – Proposed Demolition and Construction of a New Building for Evans Scholars, the TIF Review Board, the Street Use Staff Commission, the Transit and Parking Commission and the Common Council Organizational Committee Subcommittee on Police & Community Relations. The city meeting agenda items are open for testimony from the public should you be interested in weighing in. I also appreciate hearing from you on any items on which you have a particular interest or concern so please send me an email or give me a call.

Neighborhood Meeting – Proposed Demolition and Construction of a New Building for Evans Scholars

Please join Alder Verveer and Alder Zellers for a neighborhood meeting where we will hear about the Evans Scholars project proposal for their residence at 141 Langdon. They are proposing to demolish the current 3-story building and replace it with a 4-story building plus basement facing the corner of Langdon and Henry. The new building would have 70 beds with room to grow to 90 beds.
