The week of May 29 has items of possible interest to residents of district 2 at the Room Tax Commission, the Common Council – Discussion, the Habitat Stewardship Subcommittee, the Public Market Development Committee, the Madison Police Department Policy & Procedure Review Ad Hoc Committee and TLNA Neighborhood meeting re: The Avenue Club/Bubble Up Bar Request for Use of Parking Lot for 3 Events. The city meeting agenda items are open for testimony from the public should you be interested in weighing in.  I also appreciate hearing from you on any items on which you have a particular interest or concern so please send me an email or give me a call.

TLNA Neighborhood meeting re: The Avenue Club/Bubble Up Bar Request for Use of Parking Lot for 3 Events

Please join me and Liz Stolz of The Avenue Club for a meeting where we will hear about The Avenue’s intent to apply for a Change of Licensed Premises to allow for them to serve alcohol in the parking lot up to three days per year to hold events like a Fish Boil and game day tail gate events. They will also need conditional use approval.  This year they are looking at holding a fish boil on August 16 and tail gates on Sept 9 and Nov 18.  The events would be scheduled to end no later than 10:30.  You will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.
