VINTAGE REDEVELOPMENT NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING

The Carey Group proposed to develop 529 University Avenue, currently Vintage Spirits and Grill. The proposal is to demolish the existing building and construct a new, 12-story mixed-use building. The building would include 1,450 square feet of commercial space on the first floor and 33 apartment units on floors two through twelve. The apartments would be comprised of 11 two-bedroom units and 22 four-bedroom units. No vehicular parking is proposed; moped and bicycle parking is yet to be determined. The site is currently zoned UMX (Urban Mixed Use) and will remain UMX for the proposed redevelopment.
