North Bassett Street Closure

Starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, May 1, North Bassett Street will be closed to thru traffic between University Avenue and West Johnson Street. The closure is to allow Stevens Construction and their subcontractors to make underground utility connections into North Bassett Street for an apartment building under construction.

The street will be reopened by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2. A map of the closure is available.

Pedestrian traffic will be maintained on one side of North Bassett Street at all times.

Motorists and bicyclists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays during this closure.
