Madison Night Market Returns

The first Madison Night Market of 2023 will be held on Thursday, May 11, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the heart of downtown. This is the first of five markets for the 6th Annual Madison Night Market season. Vendors showcase handmade products, local art, artisan gifts, prepackaged foods and fresh produce. The event includes live music, special visiting food carts and pop-up restaurant experiences.

The Market includes activities on six blocks of State Street and a portion of West Gilman Street. More than 95 vendors and 50+ area businesses will join in the event. A map of the event is available.

Many downtown businesses are staying open later and offering a wide variety of special events and sales. Visit the Madison Night Market website to find out more on these participating retailers and their special offers.

Live musical performances are at Lisa Link Peace Park, 452 State Street, and pre-contracted musicians will be along State Street. The #MNM sign will be located at the top of State Street for photos. Boulders Climbing Gym’s portable wall will be on West Gilman Street and Ultrazone Laser Tag’s portable arena will be in the Grove at the top of State Street.

Markets will be held the second Thursday of the months of May, June, August and September, with a special market on Thursday, October 19 to be held in partnership with Science on the Square. Madison Night Market is presented by Madison’s Central Business Improvement District (BID) in partnership with the City of Madison.
