
City Budget Engagement Sessions
postedThe City of Madison is hosting five budget engagement sessions in June. Each meeting will focus on a different aspect of local government and the City services provided to residents. The goal of these public meetings is to provide an opportunity for you to speak directly with policymakers about your ideas, concerns, and priorities for Madison’s future.
The meetings will feature an update of the 2026 budget process with City Finance Director Dave Schmiedicke and presentations from agency leaders.

- June 4 - Public Works at Central Library
- June 11 - Administration & Public Facilities at Warner Park Community Recreation Center
- June 16 - Public Safety at Sequoya Library
- June 18 - Transportation at Pinney Library
- June 24 - Community & Economic Development at the Hub
All the sessions are from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Registration is encouraged (but not required) at the link to specific event pages.
