UW campus development informational meeting, Seeking public feedback on MPD budget, Live at the Glen, Willy Street Fair road closures

A few quick updates about meetings and events that just crossed my inbox:

Meetings of interest:

• Informational sessions on development plans for the west side of UW-Madison campus:
  • Session #1: Wednesday, September 14, 7-8pm, Room 1345 Health Sciences Learning Center, 750 Highland Ave
  • Session #2: Thursday, September 15, 3:30-4:30pm, Room 1325 Health Sciences Learning Center, 750 Highland Ave

Both sessions will cover the same material, and can be attended in person or accessed via Zoom.

• The Public Safety Review Committee is seeking public feedback on the Madison Police Department budget (the highest portion of the City operating budget, outside of debt service) on Wednesday, September 14 at 6pm.

Upcoming events:

• Live at the Glen: WI Dells Singers and Ho-Chunk Dance Troupe – Friday, September 16, 5:30-7:30pm, The Glen Golf Park
• The Willy Street Fair is this Saturday and Sunday, September 17-18. Please be aware of road closures for the event.

Save the date:

• Public Information Meeting on the Willow Creek Watershed Study, September 29, 6pm. Please register in advance.
