Trash pickup suspended - put carts out for tomorrow, Snow emergency tonight - park on the EVEN side, West area plan meeting for tonight cancelled, Chief Barnes update tomorrow noon

Hello neighbors,

Street crews are not able to complete trash pickup today. You may leave your carts out, or pull them back and re-place them at the curb for pickup tomorrow.

Snowplowing across the City has begun. There IS a declared snow emergency. Please park on the EVEN side of the street tonight, and on the ODD side TOMORROW (Friday) night.

Due to inclement weather today and the resulting cancellation of MMSD schools, the 6pm West Area Plan meeting at Vel Phillips Memorial High School is canceled.  Staff will be meeting to discuss a new date for another West Area Plan meeting, but in the meantime registration for the virtual meeting scheduled for Monday, February 13th at 6pm is still open via the project web page.  Project updates will continue to be posted to the web page and email list – please check back or sign up for email updates for the latest information!

Chief Barnes will be delivering a State of Public Safety Address tomorrow at noon. The address will be recorded.
