Vermilion Development is seeking a zoning change for the property at 1617 Sherman Avenue from Suburban Employment (SE) to Transitional Residential – Urban 2 (TR-U2). The development would include the demolition of an underutilized office building to be replaced with multifamily housing. The proposal consists of four (4) newly constructed buildings containing a range of home sizes from studio to three-bedrooms. The proposal includes both indoor and outdoor automobile parking and sheltered bike parking.
