District Niners’

Summer’s clock is still ticking and winding down and Fall (without the heat and humidity) will soon be in the air.

  • For those who want to get in a few laps in the Goodman pool, August 24th (weather permitting) is the last day.  There is a budding Olympian out there.
  • Move in, move out near the campus periphery reached its fever pitch during the last few days and is mostly completed.  Kudos to Streets Division.
  • Projects (road closures) with detours or lane reductions that started during the spring are nearly completed or completed.  Ribbon cutting ceremonies and barricade removals are on the menu for the Wilson Street Corridor on August 20th at 9 AM.
  • Water main flushing on streets included in the South of Old Sauk and west of Bear Claw Way area will take place this week. Note: Flushing may temporarily cause discolored water or low-pressure flow.
