Meeting and Event Highlights for the Week of September 8, 2025
posted
District Niners,
- On Wednesday, you will have the opportunity to meet and greet fellow Madisonians from neighboring districts to share issues and ideas specific to District 9 as well as issues, ideas and concerns that intersect and parallel with other districts on the West side as well as focusing on how collectively and collaboratively these issues and concerns can be addressed. Let your voices(s) be heard by getting engaged and speaking up and speaking out about those concerns. Do consider capitalizing on this opportunity. Chances are, we will learn that there are more similarities than differences when discussed face to face. We all want what is best for Madison. I will see many, if not most of you: Wednesday, September 10th, 6:00-8:00 PM at Vel Phillips Memorial H.S. in the Wisconsin Neighborhood Center, 201 S. Gammon Rd.
Remembering September 11, 2001
Let us all remember the tragic loss of so, so many on September 11, 2001 by participating in the Madison Police and Madison Fire Department and American Red Cross blood annual donation drive to keep our blood banks stocked with the precious gift of life: blood from those who are A or B positive, those who are A or B negative, those who are AB positive or negative or those who are 0 positive or O negative. We need all of you!
