Welcome Home: Cooper's Hawk Returns To Willy Street
posted
John Kraak, a volunteer with the Four Lakes Wildlife Center, came over to retrieve the hawk, and we’re delighted to say that after seven weeks of rehabilitation, the hawk is healthy and back home on Willy Street!
The same crew that cared for the hawk after it made its "emergency landing" in August was there to escort Mr. Kraak up to the roof of Fire Station 3 today, where the hawk made a triumphant return to the neighborhood.
