Where are you stationed?
I'm currently assigned to Fire Station 5 (Cottage Grove Road) on the 'C' shift.
Have you always wanted to be a firefighter?
I've wanted to be a firefighter in the City of Madison as long as I can remember. I was very fortunate to have a father who works as a firefighter in Madison. He exposed me at a young age to what an amazing career being a firefighter in Madison is, and I got to meet many different people who have been very impactful to me.
What has been one of the most rewarding experiences of your career up to this point?
The most rewarding part for me to this point has been getting to make an impact in the lives of community members.
What do you do when you're not working at MFD?
In my free time, I love to hunt and fish and enjoy all things outdoors
