Mayor's Statement re: Milt McPike

Madison - Mayor Dave Cieslewicz made the following statement on the passing of community leader and educator Milt McPike: "Milt McPike was a remarkable community leader. His influence was felt most deeply in our schools where Milt was a tireless advocate for the children of Madison. His commitment to public service extended well beyond that sphere, however. This was most recently evident in his leadership as co-chairman of the gang task force, an assignment he tackled with his usual tenacity and intelligence. Milt was a uniquely positive influence in our community, and he will be missed. His wife Sharon and his children are in our thoughts."
