Metro Transit Public Hearing Scheduled - Proposed August Service Changes

On Wednesday, April 10, Metro Transit and the City of Madison Transit and Parking Commission will hold a public hearing at 6 PM to discuss service changes proposed to go into effect in August. Location: 215 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Room 260 (Madison Municipal Building) Proposed service changes include the creation of a new Route 31 to the Owl Creek neighborhood. Possible adjustments to Routes 2, 5, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 18, 25, 28, 31, 33, 34, 38, 39, 40, 41, 44, 47, 56, 57, 71 and 72 are also being considered. Additional routes and affected areas may be included at the public hearing. Interested persons are encouraged to attend the public hearing to give feedback. Consideration will be given to views and comments expressed at the public hearing as well as to all written comments received. Comments can be submitted at mymetrobus.com/feedback.
