Concerts on the Rooftop Starts This Thursday at Monona Terrace

Madison, WI – Monona Terrace invites the community to celebrate summer with the return of its popular Concerts on the Rooftop series, beginning this Thursday. Guests can enjoy live music against the stunning backdrop of Lake Monona and downtown Madison. The rooftop and Lake Vista Café open at 5:30 p.m., with performances from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

THURSDAYS:

June 5  WheelHouse is a nationally touring Americana and bluegrass band hailing from Madison. Featuring three- and four-part harmonies, fiddle and guitar leads, and driving rhythm from upright bass, WheelHouse brings an energy and attitude unique to themselves.

June 12  Rod Tuffcurls & the Bench Press is a live performance powerhouse with a focus on bone-crushing three-part harmonies.The band carefully curates each show from an eclectic and massive repertoire, cultivating an unclassifiable experience of joy and entertainment for everyone in attendance.

June 26  Latin Pride Orquesta’s exhilarating brand of salsa music and charged live shows have quickly earned them a reputation as one of the most exciting acts to emerge from Madison’s Latin salsa music scene. The 12-musician group’s complex and dynamic sound along with their resonating live performances helped the band quickly rise to prominence.

July 10  The Eddie Butts Band delights audiences at events throughout the Midwest, delivering an exciting blend of R&B, pop, jazz and more. Eddie is a well-known premier vocalist, and when you combine his smoky baritone with highly-praised musicianship and vocal talents of this polished and professional band, it is easy to see why the Eddie Butts Band is considered a must-see and must have favorite.

July 17  SuperTuesday has been referenced as one of the best dance bands and plays hits from artists like Bon Jovi, Brothers Osborne, Journey, Michael Jackson, Morgan Wallen, Pat Benatar, Post Malone, Def Leppard, Bruno Mars, Luke Combs, Guns N Roses, and Prince (just to name a few). They’ve appeared in commercials, played stadiums and coliseums, opened for national artists, and are guaranteed to be a SUPER time!

July 24  Gold Dust Women isn’t just a tribute band—it’s a powerhouse of top-tier musicians, each a standout performer in their own right. When these dynamic personalities come together on stage, they create pure magic, bringing the music of Fleetwood Mac, Heart, and a few unexpected surprises to life with electrifying energy, captivating musical alchemy through collective dedication to their craft, the Midwest music community, and each other.
