Street Closures – Sherman Avenue (southbound direction)

On Thursday, July 31, starting at 7:00 am, and continuing through Friday, August 1, S&L Underground will close Sherman Avenue to through access in the southbound direction, between Fordem Avenue and Marston Avenue. This is to accommodate the installation of utilities for a private development project.
During the closure southbound local access will be maintained and northbound Sherman Avenue will remain open. The street is expected to reopen to normal conditions the afternoon of Friday, August 1.
The southbound detour route will be as follows:
- Southbound traffic will follow Fordem Avenue to East Johnson Street, to Marston Avenue
Metro Transit service will not be impacted.
