What you need to know
- Polling places are open from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. It's a good idea to check if your polling place has changed since you last voted.
- Remember to bring a photo ID. Several types of ID are acceptable, including a current Wisconsin Driver's License.
- Not registered to vote? That's okay. You can register at the polls if you provide proof of address, which can be in a paper or electronic format.
Acceptable proof of address documents
- A voter who is not able to provide an acceptable form of ID will be given a provisional ballot. For their ballot to be counted, a provisional voter will need to bring their ID for review to the Clerk's Office by the Friday after Election Day.
