Lane Closures for Run Madtown

Multiple streets will be impacted on Saturday, May 23rd and Sunday, May 24th for the annual Run Madtown race.

Saturday, May 23rd

Beginning at 6:00pm, Rudy's Rainbow Mile walk/run will start and at 7:00pm, the Twilight 5K will start. Both events start and end on the 700 block of State Street with the routes looping through the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. The races are anticipated to conclude at 8:30pm.

Sunday, May 24th 

Starting at 7:00am, both the 10K and half marathon will begin.  Both events will begin and end on the 700 block of State Street with the routes moving through destinations such as the Capitol Square, arboretum, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. These races are anticipated to end at 11:00am.

Additional details

Travel lanes that are closed for the races will reopen as the last runner passes through each area.
