Street Closures for Concerts on the Square Start Next Week

Multiple streets around the Capitol Square will close on Wednesday, June 24 for the start of the annual Concerts on the Square event series. The core streets impacted are Main St, Pinckney St, 100 block of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, and the 100 block of E Washington Ave. 

Capitol Square Street closures for Concerts on the Square are July 1, July 8, July 15, July 22, and July 29.

For each Concerts on the Square date, the streets will close at 3:00pm and will reopen by midnight. This event attracts a large audience, and nearby neighborhoods could see an increase in congestion.  Remain alert for bicycle and pedestrian traffic, construction sites, and detour routes.
