Virginia Terrace Closure for Underground Utility Work

Parisi Construction has closed Virginia Terrace between Regent Street and Rowley Avenue to construct underground utilities as part of the City of Madison's Virginia Terrace, Norwood Place, Rugby Row and Hillington Way construction project.
The section of Virginia Terrace between Regent Street and Rowley Avenue is the only portion of the project scheduled for construction in 2026. This work is expected to be completed by the end of September.
The remaining portions of the project are scheduled to begin in spring 2027. Local traffic will be maintained throughout both phases of construction.
Drivers and residents should expect temporary changes in access and allow additional time when traveling through the area.
