Outside Fire Under Investigation

Firefighters responded to an outside fire on the 900 block of Troy Drive. Bystanders waved down firefighters, and smoke was observed as Engine 10 arrived on scene. 

Engine 10 found active fire behind the building involving a variety of items as well as nearby vegetation. Engine 10 extinguished the fire and confirmed there was no fire extension into the residential building. 

The MFD Fire Investigation Team responded to attempt to identify the  cause and origin of the fire. It's unknown at this time how the fire started.
