This afternoon there is potential for locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding. The National Weather Service reports a weak tornado or two could be possible during the system moving through, with frequent lightning. Scattered rain showers, with isolated storms, are expected to continue this evening. Please do not drive through flooded roadways. While the City is not under any current watches or advisories, please remain alert for Flash Flood warnings. Flash flooding can occur anywhere throughout the City when the stormwater infrastructure cannot convey the amount of water that is falling.
