Temporary Milwaukee Street Closure - August 10 and August 12

On Monday, August 10 and Wednesday, August 12, between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, Milwaukee Street between Fair Oaks Avenue and Walter Street will be closed to through traffic by Integrity Grading and Excavation for utility installation for a private development project.
The detour route will be Atwood Avenue, using Walter Street to the east and S Fair Oaks Avenue to the west.
Metro buses and emergency vehicles will still be able to access Milwaukee Street along the closed portion of the street. The contractor will maintain this limited access two-way traffic via flagging.
The street will be open to typical traffic on Tuesday, August 11.
