Cause Of Fish Hatchery Trash Can Fire Undetermined

Engine 1 responded to a garbage can on fire on the 1900 block of Fish Hatchery Rd. Firefighters found smoke coming from a City trash bin and later discovered that the fire burned a large hole in one of the sides. Though there were several cigarette butts in the receptacle, firefighters could not definitively determine the cause of the fire.
