Grill On Downtown Balcony Deemed Unsafe

Incident Details
A passerby was concerned after seeing a Bassett Street resident using a grill on his second-story balcony because it seemed unsafe. Firefighters showed up to the address and contacted the individual. They informed him he could not use a grill on his balcony because, among other reasons, there were trees hanging over the grill that had burned leaves on them. The resident was understanding, extinguished the grill, and said he would not do it again.
