Woman Struck By Vehicle Suffers Minor Injuries

A 36-year-old female was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of East Washington Ave. and Eagan Road Monday. She told Madison Fire Department paramedics she was crossing East Washington Ave. in the crosswalk when a vehicle turned left and struck her as it passed through the crosswalk.
 
Madison Police shut down a lane of outbound traffic on East Washington as Madison Fire Department EMTs and paramedics evaluated the patient, who was up and walking when Engine Company 8 arrived. She was transported by Medic 5 to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
