Fire On Latham Drive Under Investigation

The Madison Fire Department responded to a business on Latham Drive for a fire reported on the property. Ladder Co. 6 arrived first on scene and located fire outside of the building. After extinguishing the exterior fire, crews entered the building to search for extension. Additional fire was found inside. Engine Co. 1 took over fire attack and quickly put a stop to the interior fire. Engine Co. 4 searched the building for occupants and confirmed the building was all clear. Ladder Co. 1 ventilated the building with assistance from Engine Co. 4 and Ladder Co. 6.

There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
