Event Description
Fat Bears and Chonky Squirrels ~ Join Wildlife Naturalist Kathlean Wolf for a free guided walk on easy walk paths along Warner Pond and the wild side of Warner Park. Wild critters are busy fattening up and hunkering down as days gets colder. Learn about wildlife and how they change their bodies and their environment in preparation for winter. How could Climate Change affect their survival with warmer winters?
Meeting Location: Rainbow Shelter by Warner Pond Lagoon, 2930 N. Sherman Ave.
Walks at Warner Park held on the 3rd Sunday of every month are co-sponsored by Madison Bird City FUN partners Wild Warner. Typically meet at the "rainbow" Warner Park shelter by the lagoon, unless noted otherwise. Parking is available nearby. Free, welcoming, healthy, fairly accessible, family and kid friendly, educational, no registration required, no pets.
