Wexford Pond Dredging Update

Madison's Stormwater Engineering Staff advises that the dredging contractor has committed to completing its work by June 15. This is actually later than the contractual completion date and the City has invoked the liquidated damages clause in the contract.

I have had a number of inquiries about the timeline for removing the orange fencing around the pond. The High Point Swim Club did request the contractor to keep and maintain the fencing and add an additional piece of fencing to limit people walking to the pool through City property.

Stormwater Engineering will provide another update by June 22.
