We'll explore the half-mile trail and more in Moraine Woods, giving a peek into the work, management and plans for the area.
Event Tips
- Wear long-sleeved clothing and pants and/or bug spray.
- Park vehicles next to or north of the small crop field and off of the pavement. The address is approximate.
About Conservation Park Tours
- Educational staff-guided walks are held at various conservation parks on the 2nd Wednesday of May - October.
- Topics vary and include highlights of the past, present and future of the land.
- Starting times vary, depending on the sunset and typically last about 90 minutes.
- Walks are held rain or shine, but may be canceled or delayed in severe weather. The event posting will be updated.
- Free to attend, easy-paced and family-friendly. No registration is required.
- Unless otherwise indicated, no restrooms are available on-site.
- Dogs and pets are prohibited in all conservation parks.
