R. Richard Wagner Park

Project Information

The block retaining wall at R. Richard Wagner Park has been identified as failing and in need of replacement. Starting October 2025, construction will begin on replacement of the wall and some restrictions will result along the Williamson St. fronting portion of the Park - a section of sidewalk will be closed, parking will be restricted, and the entry here will be inaccessible.  

This park is located within the Third Lake Ridge Historic District. The project has received a Certificate of Appropriateness from the City Landmarks office.

October 1, 2025 Update

Construction for this project is anticipated to start on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Parking and access to the park will be limited.
