Engine 10 Responds to Outside Fire On Northport Drive

Engine 10 responded to the 500 block of Northport Drive for an outside fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found a tree smoking and smoldering outside of an apartment complex. The 911 caller was on scene but did not know how the tree was ignited. Engine 10 extinguished the fire with a water can extinguisher. Property management stated they would check private security cameras to attempt to determine what started the fire.
