Lakeside Community Room
Located in Parks Lakeside Offices with a wall of windows overlooking Lake Monona, this event space is spectacular for formal or casual events. The Lakeside Community Room at 330 E. Lakeside Street is about 1,600 square feet, roughly 40 by 40 feet.

Reservation Timeframe/Clean-up
Community room users are responsible for all set-up and clean-up, which includes wiping off dirty tables/chairs and returning them to the standard configuration before leaving. Trash and recycling should be bagged up and placed next to the provided cans (refill cans with new bags). A vacuum, along with basic cleaning supplies and additional trash bags (behind the accordion doors) are available for your use. If the room is not cleaned up and tables and chairs are not put away, additional labor charges may apply. There is no early/late access outside of reservation hours. Use of the room outside of reservation hours will incur additional fees.
Supervision & Conduct
The person making the reservation is responsible for guest behavior and any damages.
Food & Beverage
Food and beverages are allowed, but selling goods (vending) is not allowed without a permit. Visit Special Events for more information regarding vending. Madison Parks does not have a vending machine or provide basic cookware appliances (coffee maker, microwave, crockpots, etc.), but you are welcome to bring your own.
Business Hours Etiquette
For reservations taking place during business hours (8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday), be mindful of staff and other customers in the building. Refrain from loud activities that could disrupt others.
Amplified Sound
Amplified Sound is not allowed during business hours (8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday).
Parks Staff Services
Parks staff do not provide supplies or services for reservations, such as making copies, printing documents, setting up the room, etc.
Building Hours & Park Policies
This building is located in Olin Park and the park's open hours are 4:00am to 10:00pm. All activities must end and attendees must leave the park by 10:00pm.
After-Hours Reservation Access
Entrance doors are automatically unlocked during reservations outside standard hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, excluding holidays). For after-hours reservations or early departures, email parks@cityofmadison.com with at least 10 days' notice to arrange access.
Prohibited items
Glass containers (MGO 8.24(3)), fasteners other than painter’s tape (no staples, nails, strong tape), glitter, confetti, and candles (flameless are acceptable).
Pets/Animals
Pets (dogs, cats, etc.) are not allowed in the Lakeside Offices building.
Furniture Included
Furniture is available to use as part of your reservation.
