A passerby found the 2016 Honda Accord, stolen from Merrick Court, early this morning, around 3:50 a.m. It was abandoned, running, and in the grass near an Aberg Ave. bank.

Inside the car, officers found keys to several other vehicles, boxes containing new shoes, marijuana shake, and evidence from several burglaries.

The Accord appeared to have been in a crash, and one tire was shredded.

Earlier this morning, around 2:45 a.m., a Honda Accord was seen driving on Glacier Hill Dr. with headlights out.

Several teens were spotted at the same time, running through yards. One resident later reported a burglary, with a wallet stolen.

Officers arriving in the area saw an Accord speeding through the neighborhood, sometimes operating on sidewalks and front yards.

It sped from the area. Officers did not chase it due to community safety concerns.
