UpdatePriscilla Brown was located shortly before midnight by an officer on patrol in the downtown district, 3.8 miles from her home. The alert officer notes she matched the description provided to her in briefing and contacted her. The officer recognized Priscilla was suffering from the effects of the cold and placed her in her squad car to warm her up. EMS was immediately called to provide treatment and transportation to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Special thanks to the outside agencies that assisted MPD in this search. This includes Madison Fire Dept, Middleton Fire Dept, and Maple Bluff PD. The search included the use of tracking K9's, thermal imaging to search fields and parks, and unmanned aerial systems with FLIR technology.
A final thank you to all the citizens of Madison, who officers had contact during the search, that left their warm homes to search late into the night.

DetailsAt approximately 4:30 this afternoon 78 year old Priscilla Brown wandered away from her home in the 4200 block of Milwaukee St. Priscilla suffers from dementia and is known to wander on occasions. Priscilla is described as an African American woman approximately 4'9" with 1" short grey hair. Priscilla is NOT dressed for the weather and was last seen wearing a thin black jacket with red cuffs, black jeans and black loafers.
