Details

MPD officers were dispatched to a citizen call of shots fired near Gene Parks Place and Mike McKinney Court. Officers arrive in the area and find bullet casings in the street. They began to process the scene and conduct witness interviews. A short time later, a 23 year-old man arrived at a local hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Detectives with the Violent Crime Unit responded to the scene and hospital to complete interviews and collect evidence. They continue to investigate this case. The suspect or suspects remain at large.
