  1. Some Properties Experiencing Schedule Lookup Problems

    The collection schedule lookup for condominium properties is having temporary technical difficulties.

    While City IT sorts out the issue, condo residents can use this map-based look-up tool.

  2. Closed for Thanksgiving and Ho-Chunk Day (11/27 & 11/28)

    No collections on 11/27 (Thanksgiving) & 11/28 (Ho-Chunk Day). 

    Check your collection schedules to learn when to set out trash and recycling carts.

    Drop-off sites also closed on 11/27 & 11/28.

    Olin Avenue drop-off last day is 11/30.

Brush & Yard Waste

Brush vs. Yard Waste

Separate yard waste and leaves from brush. 

Yard waste and brush are separate collections. We will not collect mixed piles.

  • Brush on the curb. There is a pile of stickes, and a pile of small logs.

    Brush

    Brush is sticks and branches you cut from trees, shrubs, or bushes. Brush must be:

    • Between 18 inches and 8 feet long
    • Less than 8 inches in diameter
  • Leaf pile with a rake.

    Yard Waste

    Yard waste is plant material from your lawn or garden, including:

    • Leaves, weeds, grass clippings, and garden trimmings
    • Twigs less than 18 inches long
    • Pumpkins, crab apples, vines, corn stalks, and pinecones

Will there be a fourth yard waste pickup in the fall of 2025?

Set-Out Dates?

Your set-out dates for brush or yard waste will be a Sunday. 

We will collect the materials some time during the work week following your Sunday set-out date.

If your brush or yard waste is not out on the set-out date, you may miss your pickup chance.

Drop-off Sites

You can bring brush and yard waste to one of our drop-off sites.
