Official curbside brush collection for 2018 begins in the Monday collection district on April 2. There will be multiple collection opportunities throughout the year. Watch the Pickup Schedule to learn when to place your brush for pickup.

The final round of brush collection season will likely occur at the end September as crews switch to autumn leaf collection duties. The actual final round is weather dependent and will be announced when the date is known.

City of Madison residents can also take brush to a drop-off site.

UPDATE (5/17) Final round ongoing. Several neighborhoods have received their final pickup for the spring already.

Click the Pickup Schedule button below to learn if you should place out yard waste for pickup either for the current round or the upcoming final round.

If your neighborhood is marked "Pending" then yes, you should put out yard waste and crews will be around soon.

If your neighborhood is marked "Crews Working" it is not recommended that you place out yard waste, and should instead take it to a drop-off site..

If your neighborhood is marked "Season Over" do not put out yard waste. Crews will not pickup yard waste again in your neighborhood until the fall.

Madison residents with yard waste can take it to a drop-off site instead of placing it to the curb.
