Community Notification Meeting - Sex Offender Information

Place of Meeting:  Midtown District Station, 4020 Mineral Point Rd

The Madison Police Department is releasing the following information pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 301.46(2m) which authorizes law enforcement agencies to inform the public of a sex offender's release when; in the discretion of the agency, the release of information will enhance public safety, awareness and protection. The individual who appears on this notification has been convicted of a sex offense.

Two individuals who are registered with the Sex Offender Registry will be living at an address in the 6200 block of Raymond Rd.  Stacey Ristau will be living at 6210 Raymond Rd., Madison, WI. In 1992 and 2006, Ristau was convicted of 2nd degree Sexual Assault of a Child.  David Hudson will be living at 6210 Raymond Rd., Madison, WI. In 1991, Hudson was convicted of 1st and 2nd degree Sexual Assault.

At this meeting, representatives of the WI Department of Corrections and MPD will present on the following:  To provide information to the community about laws related to sex offenders in general. To provide information on the specific individuals named in the bulletins, including specifics on their pattern of offenses. To provide information on the Madison Police Department's response plan related to the offender's return to the community.

Meeting Schedule: Outlined below with topic and speaker. Questions will not be answered during the presentations. Note cards will be available for you to write down your questions. The cards will then be collected and the questions will be answered after the presentations are complete. Only those questions submitted in writing will be answered during the meeting. Panel members will respond to individual concerns (one to one) after the conclusion of the meeting.
