That the entry-level written test for MPD (the Nelson-Denny) is simply a vocabulary and reading comprehension assessment tool which has no law enforcement questions whatsoever? MPD places a premium on those candidates who do community service and volunteer work?  It need not be law enforcement-related.  Anything that demonstrates you have a “service” component to your life style. [read more]
