While winter officially begins December 21, please remember that Mother Nature decides when these outdoor winter sports can start, not the Parks Division! For the equipment to safely prepare the rinks for skating, staff needs two to four weeks of below-freezing temperatures. And in order to groom the ski trials, staff needs at least 4 inches of snow.

Garner, Goodman, Olbrich, Warner Parks are closed for the evening. Please check back tomorrow and Wednesday for the status of the rinks after the snow storm.
