ATTENTION: The snow that started to accumulate yesterday and continues today Tuesday December 05, 2023 should be cleared from the public sidewalk by 12:00pm (noon) on Wednesday December 06, 2023. As a result, we are currently not accepting complaints of Sidewalk Concerns regarding public sidewalks covered by snow or ice and/or the excessive salt left after all ice has melted. Complaints received prior to the removal deadline will be discarded. Please check the Winter Highlights page at the following website for information on the snow removal deadline: http://www.cityofmadison.com/residents/winter/ Thank you for your cooperation.
Please Note: There is no legal requirement that a person provide a name. Providing a name does two things for us:
- Gives us some measure of credibility regarding the complaint (people are less likely to file a false complaint using their name)
- It gives us a point of contact if we have any questions regarding the complaint.
