Mission Statement

We, the members of the Madison Police Department, are committed to providing high quality police services that are accessible to all members of the community. We believe in the dignity of all people and respect individual and constitutional rights in fulfilling this mission.

Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) Trainings

We offer free training on this important topic at our Training Center for individuals to attend and we offer group trainings at your business/organization. 

  • Report an Incident

    Report thefts from auto, criminal damage to property, identity theft, and other issues.

  • Parking Tickets

    Pay parking tickets, look up tickets, or find a towed vehicle.

  • Records Requests

    Request background checks, fingerprinting, or public records.

  • File a Complaint

    File a complaint with us or the Police and Fire Commission (PFC).
