Community Outreach and Resource Education (CORE)

Who we are and what we do

CORE is comprised of 1 Captain, 1 Lieutenant, 1 sergeant and 8 officers
enhance our department's efforts to reduce disproportionate arrests related to racial disparities
improve trust and perception of fairness through procedural justice, community outreach, education, and problem-solving
break down barriers between youth in our community and police
create and expand programs to divert youth from the criminal justice system
find solutions to social and community issues
organize and implement our youth academies, community academy, and other community events
