Community Outreach Groups

The goal of our community outreach groups is to strengthen relationships in our community. Our outreach groups include Amigos en Azul, the Black Officer Coalition, and Pride.

Amigos en Azul

The mission of Amigos en Azul is to dissolve cultural barriers, build partnerships and open lines of communication between the Latino community and the City of Madison Police Department, in partnership with Dane County-area law enforcement.

Black Officer Coalition

The members of the Black Officer Coalition are committed to bridging the gap between the Black Community and the Madison Police Department.

Pride

MPD Pride is a LGBTQIA+ resource group comprised of LGBTQIA+ employees and allies within the City of Madison Police Department. Our mission is to serve as a resource to employees within MPD by providing education, information, and support.
