Public Information Meeting Monday 11/24/2025 for Proposed Development at 2103 Sherman Avenue

This upcoming Monday 11/24/2025, there will be a public information meeting to present a proposed development at 2103 Sherman Avenue. Timing for putting this initial meeting together has been tight because we aimed to have it before the holidays. I appreciate the work of city planning staff, Carra the supervisor of Lakeview Library, and especially Debbie in the council office for helping me get this put together! 

Nearby neighbors should hopefully receive their postcards tomorrow, but for the greater District, I am sharing the postcard text below:

SARA Investment Real Estate proposes to redevelop the property at 2103 Sherman Avenue, currently a parking lot, into a five-story, mixed-use building with ground floor retail and residential apartments above. There would be ap-proximately 80 apartments comprised of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units. Parking plans include underground and first floor stalls for a total of approximately 80-90 cars and both indoor and outdoor bicy-cle parking.
A neighborhood meeting to hear more about this redevelopment proposal is scheduled for Monday November 24th, 5:30 PM at Lakeview Library (Community Room - Fireplace side). The development team and City Planning staff will be present to provide information and answer questions. You will have the opportunity to give feedback.

There will be more opportunities to give public input on this project in December!
