Street Assessment Policy Changes
On Monday, the Transportation Policy & Planning Board will review a proposed change to our street assessment policy. You can find a link to the presentation here and to the meeting details here.
LENA monthly meeting
On Monday at 6:30p, the Lake Edge Neighborhood Association will hold its monthly meeting, including a presentation from Solace. You can access the virtual meeting here.
Coffee at Pinney Library
Friends of Pinney Library will be hosting another free COFFEE AT PINNEY event on Tuesday from 9:00-1:00. Stop in for a free cup of joe from Cafe Domestique.
Black Women Artists Speak
On Tuesday, Black Women Artists Speak invites five Black women creatives, from a variety of artistic genres, including visual arts, poetry, and music, to share their perspectives about how Madison could provide a healthier, more supportive environment, for them to work as artists here. Common Council Meeting
Tuesday’s council agenda includes a proposal to prohibit the Madison Police Department and law enforcement responding under mutual aid from using tear gas, mace, impact projectile devices or other chemical agent for the purposes of crowd control. You can find details on the proposed ordinance here and a link to the meeting details including a link to register to provide comment here.

Urban Forestry Task Force Update
On Wednesday, the Board of Public Works will receive an update on the Urban Forestry Task Force report. You can find a copy of the presentation here and a link to the meeting details here.
Mad Lit
Friday brings the second to last Mad Lit event back to State Street. Mad Lit is a FREE concert series featuring live music and highlighting local artists, and businesses of color. The series runs from 8 PM until 11 PM and includes pop-up shops, visual exhibits, and community-led workshops. More details here.
